About Adelaide Strikers.

The Adelaide Strikers is an Australian men’s and women’s professional T20 cricket team. Adelaide Strikers is a team that competes Australian Domestic T20 Cricket competition, the Big Bash League. In the Big Bash League, the Strikers are based in South Australia and express Adelaide. Adelaide Oval is home ground for them. The uniform of the strikers consists of a cornflower blue uniform with a West End Draught logo. In 2011, the strikers establish to play in Big Bash League.

On 30 June 2011 contracting window open at 9 am and closed on 22 July 2011. Every team has been allowed to sign up to 18 players and two overseas. In the 2016 Big Bash League, the Adelaide Strikers were the most delightful team in the BBL. Travis Head is captained of the team and coached by Australian Cricketer Jason Gillespie. Luke Williams is coached on a women’s team and captained by Suzie Bates.

Travis Head (Captain):

Travis Head is one of the most destructive batsmen and a captain of Australian Cricket. He was born on 29 December 1993. He is 26 years old. He plays the first Big Bash League on 10 January 2013. He is a left-hand batsman. The height of Travis Head is 1.79m (5ft 10in). His bowling style is right-arm off-spin. Travis Head makes his century in BBL by securing a 101 score against Sydney sixer in 2015. He is all a time Big Bash runscorer. Travis Head leading the strikers in Big Bash League to actuation his name in front of Australian selectors. In October 2018 Travis Head earned a deserved test debut and makes his maiden century against Sri Lanka. Travis Head is a favorite in the crowd. He is a respected player and is surely in the prime of his career.

Wex Agar:

Wex Agar is a transpire fast bowler with good potential. He was 29 years old. Wex Agar spent his childhood in Victoria but moved to South Australia to attain other opportunities. Alex Carey:

Carey is one of the most well-rounded players in Australia. He was born on 27 August 1991. He was 29 years old. He started his career in Big Bash League on 18 January 2017. He is a left-hand batsman in the team. Carey is a wicketkeeper. In BBL 07, in single summer highlighted a club record an outstanding century against the Hurricanes at Adelaide Strikers. Carey is one of only four players to record more than 750 BBL runs in blue. He was honored by an Australian selector. He was made a great impact on earning the vice-captaincy in both teams for the 2019 ICC World Cup in England.

Rashid Khan is one of the best players in Afghanistan. He is a leg-spinner in T20 bowlers. He was born on 20 September 1998. He started his Big Bash career on 22 December 2017. His batting style is right hand and his bowling style is right arm leg-spin. He was 22 years old. In wrong’un and trademark airplane celebration, Rashid Khan has starred in matches across the globe showcasing his best performance and has taken the BBL’s first two seasons as a striker. Rashid Khan is a leading wicket-taker in BBL 07 and BBL 08. He is the most valuable player for the second straight season. Rashid has proven himself one of the amazing players when he was not taking wickets. He proves his best economy rate below a run a ball. Rashid Khan will be back to strikers again in BBL 09.

Micheal Neser:

Harry Nielsen:

Harry is a gifted wicketkeeper-batsman who can clear the cord with ease. He was the son of former Australian coach Tim. He was born on 3 May 1995. He started his career in Big Bash League on 2 February 2018. He is a wicketkeeper and a good right-hand batsman. He was 25 years old. Nielsen was added to strikers BBL season 08. In BBL 07, Neilsen was added as a replacement player for fellow South Australian keeper Alex Carey. Neilsen shows his class by making a century in his first-class debut for South Australia against Australia.

Laim O’ Connor:

Liam O’ Connor is a great left spinner in the striker’s team. He was born on 20 June 1993. He started his Big Bash career on 21 December 2016. He is a bowler. His style of bowling is right arm leg-spin and his batting style is Bayswater-Morley. He was 27 years old. In BBL 07, as a replacement signing, playing seven matches of the season. Phill Salt:

As the Adelaide strikers, powerful English Batsmen Phill Salt started his career in BBL 09. He was born on 28 August 1996. He is a batter by position. His batting style is right hand and his bowling style is right arm medium. He was 24 years old. In the UK’s Vitality Blast series Salt has played a key role with the Sussex Sharks. Including four half-centuries, the Salt was Sussex’s top T20 runscorer this year with 407 runs. Salt will be looking to make a great impact in his first Big Bash League.

Matt Short:

Matt Short is a creative all-rounder right-hander. He was born on 08 November 2014. He started his career on 26 December 2014. His style of batting is right hand and bowling is arm off-spin. In Adelaide’s opening, the former Renegade made an immediate impact with 2/24. Then he backed with a great 65off just 41 balls against his former club. As a sign of his talent, Matt Short set himself as a regular in Victoria’s first-class. Short add a great depth to the strikers.

Peter Siddle:

Peter Siddle is great player inexperience and a leader to the Adelaide strikers. He was born on 25 November 1984. He was 35 years old. He is a bowler.
