Brisbane stadium is located in the capital of Australia which is Queensland, and usually it is known as The Gabba.The word Gabba extract from the outskirts of Woolloongabba, where it is located. In Past, Gabba is used for athletics, baseball ,concerts, cricket, Australian rules football, cycling ,rugby league, soccer, pony and greyhound races and rugby union.
At Present, it is used for Brisbane lions of Australian football league, Brisbane heat of big bash league, Queensland Bulls in domestic cricket, and women’s big bash league.
170.6 metres (east to west) by 149.9 metres (north to south), to take the playing of Australian rules football at higher level.
It was about 42,000 in 2010 and is being reduced due to electronic scoreboards.
For international matches, it becomes 36,000 .
For AFL matches it becomes 37,478 which is slightly higher.
In 1895, this land is used as a Cricket ground and on 19 december 1896 first match was held in between Parliament and The Press. Till 1931, Gabba shared elite class cricket matches with Exhibition Ground. For 21 years, in Gabba greyhound track installed for night meetings which were held at this ground.
Efforts to turn Gabba into an Art stadium began in 1993. On feb 5, 1993 last meeting of Greyhound held at Gabba. To move the Brisbane Bears from the Gold Coast to Gabba , the last meeting of Greyhounds was held on February 05, 1993 for removing hound track and work began after that meeting. As a result, the Sir Golden Chalk building was rebuilt, refurbishing the Clem Jones stand as well as the construction of a new Western grandstand and extending the playing surface to cater for Australian Rules Football.The work was finished on 11 April when Brisbane Bears first hold the AFL match game at the refurnish venue against the Melbourne Football Club before 12,821 spectators.Following changes to ground will now include the construction of two level stands in phase when the Brisbane Lions Social Club was pull down as the last stage was completed in 2005 and replaced with a 24 bay grandstand spread over 3 levels of seating with whole renovation costing $AU128 million. In mid 2020 the Gabba began receiving a $35 million remodel of stadium’s media and collaborative facilities, as well as entry and viewer facility. The work was completed in October that year, shortly before the venue put on the 2020 AFL Grand Final.
The first test match between Australia and England played these days at Brisbane. Gabba is used for Cricket between October and March and Queensland Cricket Association, Queensland Cricketers Club, and Queensland Bulls Team are included.
The Venue usually holds first test match of age each November additionally to number of International one-day match usually held in January. The tone is usually fast and flexible.

Gabba was hometown for Brisbane Bears from 1993 to 1996 and also for Brisbane Lions AFL team by 1997. AFL matches restart in 1993 as Curtain-Raiser events.
During 2020 AFL season, Gabba holds a larger number of home and away matches than usual,because of temporary resettlement of Victorian and other clubs because of COVID-19 pandemic.
In start of 1900’s, Gabba holds many matches between Australia and several touring nations. During the 2000 Summer Olympics, Gabba holds association football group games.
The first Match of Rugby League was played at Gabba on May 08,1909.Through 1932 to 1959 Gabba was used to hold the autoroute matches and International Rugby League Finals from 1909-2003.
