Melbourne Stars

Melbourne Stars in another team from Melbourne, Victoria that Compete in the Australian twenty20 League Big Bash (BBL). It’s the Australian Twenty20 Franchise Cricket league. Melbourne Renegades is their Home town Team which also Competes in BBL twenty20 league. Stars Renegades both are from Melbourne, Victoria. They Play their Domestic matches mostly in Melbourne Cricket Stadium their Home Ground. Marcus Stoinis is the longest Serving player of Stars, in his BBL career he achieved the highest individual Score of the BBL League, 147*(not out) against Sydney Sixer at their Home Ground MCG.

Mascots:

Stars have two lucky charms in their Squad, Staeman & Starlet. Stars introduce new Good luck to the Squad, Steven Seagull in BBL-05. The year after that in BBL-04 during a match between Melbourne Stars and Perth Scorchers, Scorchers batsman Adam Voges hit a Cricket ball and a bird Seagull was stuck with it in the MCG. Rob Quiney was the first to observe this, at that time the Whole Crowd is seeing this scene. Rob quiney Quick passed a signaled that there is a thread for this bird because the bird is lying motionless near the boundary. Before the bird is carried over the boundary, just a few minutes later, the life return to the fowl and it starts to stroll along the boundary line. The whole crowd of MCG was seeing this, a lot of enjoyment swarm through them.

Squad:

1-Glenn Mawell (Captain):

He is a fabulous player who started his professional career in 2010, the twenty20 Big Bash League for Victoria. Now he is a professional International Australia Cricketer who recently played for Australia in ODI and Twenty20. In his Domestic Career, he represents Victoria and Melbourne Stars. The second Fastest World Cup Century record is still on his head. He Scores 102 in just 52 Deliveries in the 2015 World Cup against Sri Lanka. He also has another Record of the fourth-highest score in Twenty20 International against Sri Lanka in 2016, he scored 145*(not out) in 65 Balls. He is a Brilliant player not only in short form Games but also in Long-form game. One of his Brilliant Performance in a long-form Game against India in a maiden test century on 16 March 2017. Glenn Face 185 balls and scores 102 Runs.

In his BBL Career he played 72 matches score 1825 Runs with the highest score of 84 runs, he also took 26 Wickets. The Stars Captain entertaining the Audience with his 360 bats hitting. In the 50 matches, his Boundaries are 11 fifties, 56 Sixes, 100 fours. His total runs for Stars are 1304 and it’s the second-highest score of the BBL League, Luke Wright is on the top with 1479 Runs.

In his Bowling Career, he played 52 innings and took 26 wickets with 827 Runs and 189 Dot Balls. He was declared as the man of the matches 9 times.

2-JONNY BAIRSTOW:

Jonny is a Right-hand Batsman. He Twice Guarantees nine excusals in a Test match and he is the only England Wicket-keeper to claim dismissal Twice once in 2016 against South Africa and second in 2016 against Sri Lanka. In the same year (2016) Jonny has another Record on his head of 70 Dismissal as a Wicket-Keeper. He is an International Cricketer of England who plays internationally for England and Domestically for Yorkshire. In 2019 Jonny Bairstow was a part of the England Cricket Squad who won the 2019 Cricket World Cup. In the year 2012 he set another Record of Scoring 1470 runs in Test Cricket as An England Wicket-Keeper, One other record of Jonny is that he is the first England Cricketer to score three Consecutive Centuries in one-day-International.

In BBL Jonny doesn’t have any records.BBL-1 is his first league. He signed his first league match with Melbourne Stars. Upon signing, Bairstow said “I’m really happy and excited to have signed with the Stars. I’ve always watched the BBL no matter where I’ve been in the world and it will be nice to finally be a part of it. I know the Stars are one of the competition’s profile clubs and have a track record of being in a position in finals,”

3-Hilton Cartwright:

He was born in Zimbabwean but at the age of 11, his Family migrates to Australia. He is an international Australian Player who plays for Western Australia and Melbourne Stars. Hilton is an All-Rounder player and a Good Right-handed batsman and Right-arm Medium Fast Bowler. Cartwright won the Bradman Young Cricketer of the Year prize in 2017 awarded by Cricket Australia. In 2017 he made his first Test debut for the Australian National team. In the same year (2017) he made his one-day international (ODI) debut against India.

In his BBL Career, he played 40 matches with 685 Runs and with the highest score of 65*(not out).Hilton sign with the Stars in BBL-09. Before Signing with the Starts Hilton was a part of the Perth Scorcher Squad. Cartwright played 31 Big Bash matches for scorchers and scores 455 Runs. In BBL-07 he Scores his Highest of 65 Runs against Sydney Thunders. Cartwright signed a multi-year Deal with the Stars and now he is in his prime years and he must be the fan’s favorite as a member of the Stars Team. Till now in his BBL Career, he played 36 matches with total Runs of 685. He was declared man of the match for one time.

4-Jackson Coleman

Jackson Coleman is a left-arm medium-fast Bowler and Right-handed Batsman. He is a Brilliant Australian Cricketer. Coleman was part of the Cricket Australia XI Squad in 2017-18. In his first match, he how a Brilliant performance, He took 4 Tickets against South Australia. In 2017 For Cricket Australia XI he made his first-class debut against England. In 2018 he made his twenty 20 debuts for Melbourne Stars 2018. In his all-time BBL Career, he played 10 matches and took 11 wickets with 182 Runs and 68 Dot Balls.

5-Nathan coulter Nile:

Nathan coulter Nile is an Australian Cricketer who plays as an All-Rounder and a Brilliant Bowler. For Cricket Australia he plays for one-day international and Twenty20 International. He also Plays for Western Australia and Melbourne Stars Domestically. For Australian National under 19, Nathan plays three ODI matches. In 2013 Against England Nile made his ODI debut for Australia and in the same year, he made his T20 debut against West Indies. Nathan becomes the Part of Stars Family recently from BBL-09. Till now in his BBL Career, he plays 50 matches with 354 Runs. His best Score is 42* Runs and he took 56 Wickets with 1323 Runs and 365 Dot balls just in BBL Career.

6-Ben Dunk:

Ben dunk is a wicket-keeper left-hand Batsman and capable of Bowling left-arm off-spin. He is an Australian Professional Cricket, played for Melbourne Stars and Lahore Qalandars, Also he played as a left-handed Batsman for Tasmania and Queensland in Australian Cricket. Ben’s first twenty20 debut was on 05 November 2014 against South Africa for Australia. Ben has an extraordinary player in Australian Domestic Cricket especially in the twenty20 Big Bash league Ben proved himself as the 4th highest Run Scorer of the tournament’s history. Ben currently playing for Melbourne Stars but he has played for four franchises out of eight throughout his BBL Career. Ben also played in Pakistan Super League for Karachi Kings and Lahore Qalanders.

Ben signed Stars Family in BBL-07 before this Ben was a part of Strikers Squad. In his all-time BBL Career, he played 76 matches Scored 1601 Runs which include 49 Sixes, 138 fours, and 9 fifties with the Highest Score of 96 runs. He was declared player of the match 5 times.

7-Seb Gotch:

Seb Gotch played as a wicket-keeper and right-handed Batsman plays for Cricket Australia. In One-Day Cup 2015 he made his List A premiere for Cricket Australia XI. In 2017 he made his first-class premiere for Victoria. Seb also made his twenty20 debut for Melbourne stars in Big Bash League 2016-17. Seb played for Melbourne Stars for the last four consecutive Seasons in BBL. He played 27 matches and Scores 323 runs having 8 sixes and 19 fours with the highest run of 48.

8-Liam Hatcher:

Liam Hatcher is a right-handed medium-fast bowler and a Good right-handed Batsman. He is an Australian Cricketer and he was named for the 2019 under-19 Cricket World Cup in the Australian Squad. In 2015 he made his List A debut for Cricket Australia XI, In the same year he made the first-class debut for Cricket Australia XI. Liam Hatcher is currently a part of Stars Family before this he was in Sydney Thunder Squad. Still, Hatcher has nothing to share from BBL.

9-Clint Hinchliffe:

 Clint is a left-arm slow unorthodox bowler and left-handed all-rounder batsman of Australian Cricketer. In 2016 he made his List A debut for National Performance Squad against Australia A. In BBL Season 2018-19 he made his twenty20 premiere for Perth Scorchers. In 2018 for Western Australia he made his first-class premiere. Clint represents Australia at the under-19 level and shows plenty of potential as a young player. Hinchliffe has a limited Career in Big Bash League. He was a part of Perth Scorchers and now signed a deal with Melbourne Stars.

In his all-time BBL Career he played 14 matches and Score 56 Runs, his highest Total is 25*(not out). In his 13 inning Bowling side, he took 9 Wickets with 224 Runs and 44 Dot Balls.

10-Zahir Khan:

 Zahir khan is a left-arm unorthodox pin Bowler and left-handed Batsman play for Afghan Cricket. In 2019 he made his Test match premiere for Afghanistan Cricket Team. In the year 2016, he played in the under-19 cricket World Cup for Afghanistan U-19 Squad. Zahir join Stars in BBL-10 before this he was a part of the Brisbane heat family and Shows his Talent in his 8 matches and took 8 wickets. In all his 8 Matches for Brisbane, he took 8 Wickets with 191 runs and 67 Dot balls, he Bat in 2 innings and Score 22 runs.

11-Nick larkin:

Larkin is an Australian Cricketer Right-handed Batsman. In 2014 he made his first-class debut for New South Wales. In Big Bash League Season 2015-16 he made his twenty20 premiere for Sydney Sixer. Nick Larkin Score 159 runs for Melbourne Stars across 8 matches in BBL-08. He was in the Sydney Sixer Squad but now he signs a deal with Melbourne Stars. In his Total 23 matches in BBL, he Scores 471 runs with the highest score of 83*(not out). He was declared player of the match 2 times.

12-Nic Maddinson:

Maddinson is a Brilliant left-arm opening Batsman of Australia. He plays for Australia in Twenty20 International and Test matches. Domestically he plays for Sydney Sixers, Melbourne Stars in Big Bash League, and for Victoria Cricket team. He signed a three-year Deal with the Melbourne Stars. Playing for Victoria he got an injury in 2018, this young player recovers from the injury and made his debut for Stars against Perth Scorchers in Melbourne Cricket Ground. In his all-time BBL Career he played 80 matches and scores 1601 runs having 63 sixes and 153 fours with the highest score of 85. As a Bowler, he plays 7 innings took 3 wickets with 84 Runs and 13 Dot balls. He was declared player of the match for 4 times.

13-Lance Morris:

Morris is a Right-arm fast-medium Bowler of Australia. In the Big bash League last Season (2019-20) he made his twenty20 premiere for Melbourne Stars. In 2020 for Western Australia he made his first-class debut. Morris has a Hidden weapon of unpredictability. He plays 5 innings took only 1 wicket with 119 runs and 16 dot balls.

14-Tom O’Connell:

Tom O’Connell is an all-rounder play for Australia. He is a Right-arm Leg break Bowler and a Right-handed Batsman. In Big Bash League season 2018-19, he made his twenty20 Premiere for Melbourne Stars. In 2018 for Victoria he made his List A debut. In his BBL Career as a Bowler, he plays 3 innings and took 1 wicket with 36 runs and 9 dots.

15- Nicholas pooran:

Nicholas pooran is a left-handed batsman and a Wicket-keeper. In International Cricket, he plays for the West Indies cricket team. At the age of 16, he made his National U-19 premiere at the 2012 regional tournament. At schoolboys tournaments and underage matches, he represents Trinidad and Tobago. In his twenty20 Career pooran play for different teams. In the 2017 Pakistan Super League, he plays for Islamabad United and made his debut against Karachi Kings. Recently in the 2019 Indian Premier League in players Auction, he was bought by Kings XI Punjab for 4.2 Crore.

In 2019 he made his twenty20 International debut against Pakistan for West indies. In 2019 he made his ODI debut against England for West Indies, in the same year (2019) he Scored his first century in ODI against Sri Lanka and In the same year (2019) he was named in the West Indies Squad for the 2019 Cricket World Cup. Nicholas Pooran still has no Career in BBL. We hope for Best Performace from Nicholas

16-Will Pucovski:

Will pucovski is a Right-handed batsman and right-arm off-break Bowler. He is an Australian Cricketer who plays for Cricket Australia and Domestically for Victoria. In 2017 he made his List A premiere for Cricket Australia XI against Pakistan. In 2019 he was Awarded as Bradman Young Cricketer of the Year by Cricket Australia at Allan Border Medal Ceremony. In 2016-17 under-19 Championships, he Breaks the long-standing runs record of 58 held by Jerry Cassel in 1993-94 by Scoring 650 Runs from eight innings with four consecutive Centuries on his way to being named player of Championships. In the third round of 2020-21, Sheffield Shield season pucovski and Marcus Harris set a new partnership record in Sheffield shield by Scoring 486 runs for the first wicket in the match against  South Australia. Will Pucovski signed his first Deal with Melbourne Stars in BBL-10.

17-Billy stanlake:

Billy Stanlake is a Right-arm Fast Bowler and Left-handed Batsman. He plays for Cricket Australia. In 2014 he represent Australia in under-19 Cricket World Cup. Domestically he plays for Adelaide Striker and Queensland. Stanlake standing at 204 cm, is the tallest cricketer to represent Australia in International Cricket. In 2017 he made his ODI debut for Australia against Pakistan, In the same year (2017) he made his twenty20 debut against Sri Lanka for Cricket Australia. Billy stanlake signed Stars Family from Striker it gives a boost to the stars in BBL-10. Stanlake signed stars family till the end of the BBL-12 season. Stanlake played 39 BBL matches and took 34 Wickets with 1081 runs and 360 dot balls. On his Batting side, he plays 9 inning and scores 13 runs.

18-Marcus stoinis:

Marcus Stoinis is an All-Rounder, right-arm medium-fast bowler, and right-handed Batsman. He is an Australian Cricketer who plays limited over Cricket for Australian National team. As an all-rounder, he plays for Perth scorchers and Victoria. Domestically he plays for Western Australia and Melbourne stars. At under-17 and the under-19 level, he represents western Australia. In 2008-09 he made his List A debut for Western Australia and his Sheffield Shield debut against Queensland in GABBA. In the 2012-13 Big bash season, stoinis was selected for Perth Scorchers Squad. In 2018-19, BBL Season stoinis singed a four Year Deal with Stars and he is the leading Run Scorer of the season for Stars by scoring 533 runs. Stoinis set a new record for the highest individual score in BBL by scoring 147 runs in 79 Balls against Sydney Sixer in 2020. In all his BBL Career he plays 60 matches, Score 1702 Runs with a highest of 147*(not out), he also took 34 Wickets with 690 runs and 167 dot balls. Stoinis was declared as a player of the match 7 times.

19-Adam zamba:

Adam is a right-arm leg break Bowler and left-handed Batsman. He represents Melbourne Stars, New South Wales, and the National Team. In 2009 Zambia selected in the Australian Under-19 Squad for the 2010 under-19 Cricket World Cup. He made his ODI debut against New Zealand in 2016 and in the same year (2017) he made his twenty20 debut against South Africa. In BBL season 2, he even can’t contract with any team just 2 weeks before the season but still plays for Sydney Thunder and Trevor Hohns highly rated him. He shows his potential in the Season, took ten wickets with average Runs of 23 per wicket. After this Season he was offered from South Australia which he Accepted for First-class and one-day matches for South Australia Team, Adelaide Striker. Zambia was named in the Australian Squad for the 2019 Cricket World Cup. In BBL he played 62 matches and took 67 wickets with 1585 runs and 403 dot balls. On his batting side, he played in 27 matches and score 97 runs with 10 boundaries, 1 six, and 9 fours. He was declared as player of the match 2 times.
