Perth Scorchers Squad 2020-21

About Scorchers:

The Perth Scorchers is an Australian Twenty20 cricket team. It is a team that represents Perth in the Big Bash League. In history, the scorchers are the most successful team in Big Bash League. Perth Scorchers wins three championships. In BBL 02 they were defeated in their second final by the Brisbane Heat. In League history, they won the next two successive championships and becomes the first team to achieve. At Canberra’s Manuka Oval, they win against the Hobart Hurricanes and the Sydney Sixers in a Last-ball.

Micky Arthur was selected as a coach. Later on, at the beginning of the season 2011-12, he left due to the appointed coach of the Australian cricket team. He was replaced by his assistant Lachlan Stevens. In November 2012, Justin Langer has replaced stevens. In the 2018-19 season, Adam Voges was selected as a new coach.

1-Ashton Agar:

Agar is a spinner and more than useful lower-order batter. He was born on 14 October 1993. He was a bowler by position. His batting style is Left hand and his bowling style is Left Arm Orthodox. Agar expresses his talent not only with the ball but also with the bat in the field.

Agar has become a regular in Australian T20 squads. In 2019, in the match against South Africa, he became only the second Australian Bowler to take a hat-trick in a T20I match. In four overs, he completed his match with figure 5-24.

In BBL 06 he belted a last-ball six to help the Perth Scorchers to a four-wicket win over the Melbourne Renegades at Etihad Stadium. He played matches of the BBL season 09, 08, 07, 06, 05, 04, and 03.

2-Fawad Ahmed:

Fawad Ahmed is an Australian player. He is one of the most experienced spin bowlers in Australia. He was born on 5 February 1992. He was a bowler by position. His batting style was right hand and his batting style was Right Arm Led-Spin. Fawad brings a great experience to the Perth Scorchers as he entered his second season with the club.

He declares 60 wickets from 65 matches in Big Bash League 10. In the middle over of BBL 09, Ahmed and Agar bowled well in tandem together. He played the matches of Big Bash season 09, 08, 07, 06, 05, 04, 03, and 02.

3-Cameron Bancroft:

Cameron is an Australian player. He was born on 19 November 1992. He started his Big Bash career on 21 December 2015. He was a batter by position. His batting style was Right hand and Right Arm Medium. Bancroft is a talented right-handed batsman and an outstanding fielder.

Bancroft can take the gloves. Since BBL 04, Bancroft came through the WA system and play constantly with the Perth Scorchers. Bancroft can bat anywhere in the top six and can play a variety of roles for the team. In BBL 09 he makes an incredible 87 off 61 balls. He guides the Scorchers to a seven-wicket win over the Sydney Sixers. He played the matches of BBL season 09, 08, 07, 06, and 05.

4-Jason Behrendorff:

Jason is an Australian player. He was born on 20 April 1990. He was a bowler by position. His batting style is Right hand and his batting style is Left Arm Fast-Med. Behrendroff has become a white-ball bowler. He was a part of the One Day Cup Campaign.

Behrendroff can strike in the power play with his bounce and swing causing issues for many a top-order batter. He missed the BBL 09 due to a back injury and will return to action as one of the swing bowlers. He played matches of BBL 08, 05, 04, 03, and 02.

Cameron’s Green star is bright, he has become the shining candidate in Australian Cricket as an allrounder. After the breakout season in the Marsh Sheffield Shield and the Marsh one day cup, Green hopes to establish himself as a compatible developer.

Green continues to refine a reworked bowling action which is designed to check further stress cracking on his developing frame and may play as a batter only in the starting months, but it is desired that he will also play as a back bowler ambitiously before the end of Summer.

6-AARON HARDIE:-

He was born on January 07, 1999. He started his Big Bash debut on January 09, 2019. He is an all-rounder by position. He bats with his right hand. He bowls medium-fast with his right arm. He belongs to Australia. He played 2 matches.

Aaron Hardie was awarded for the first time in 2018-2019 as a rookie contract for both the Western Australia State Men’s and Scorchers squads. The 21-year old captain won the Cricket Australia National Under-19 Championship by WA under 19 in 2017 and won the Australian selection, featured by an impressive knock of 85 runs against Pakistan.

With a Sheffield Shield hundred and a four-wicket pull to his name from only three matches, Hardie has a mountain of power and will be desiring to break into Scorcher’s starting team in the coming BBL season.

7-JOSH INGLIS:-

In starting he signed as a replacement player for Mitch Marsh in BBL|06, Josh Inglis goes into BBL|10 as a wicketkeeper and stunning opening batsman.

For the selection of KFC BBL|09 Team of Tournament, he struck 405 runs at an average of 28.93 and strike rate of 153.00  in last season throughout the 14 matches.

The creative right-hander formed a powerful opening partnership with overseas marquee Liam Livingstone with the pair of combining for 300+ run stands and uniformly getting the innings off to a flyer.

He was born in Durban, South Africa .he moved to Perth when he was only 14 years of age. The fast bowler got Warriors rookie deal in 2016-17 season and got success in the next summer season when he launched for WA in the JLT One Day Cup, he took a wicket in his first game and claiming 5-24 in the next game against Queensland, Kelly. Kelly continued his power over the Bulls taking 5fa against Queensland in 2017-2018 Sheffield Shield.

In 2014-15 in the Premier Cricket T20 competition, standing at 193cm tall the towering quick helped his club side Claremont –Nedlands to declare victory.
